If you collect medical or surgeon Civil War artifacts then this grouping is for you. A signed CDV of Theodore S. Christ on the reverse that states "Yours Truly, Theo. S. Christ, Surgeon, 45th P.V.V." including a Paymaster Order dated July 6, 1864. The order has been signed twice perfectly by Surgeon Christ. The signatures are a dead match to the CDV signature. Surgeon Christ enlisted on 10/12/1861 as an Asst. Surgeon. He was commisioned on that date into the Field & Staff of the 45th Pennsylvania Infantry and was mustered out on 10/20/1864. What a grouping! Three quality signatures on a CDV & document of a Pennsylvania surgeon that saw it all.

An Alabama cavalry officer standing holding his Hardee Hat with a revolver tucked in his belt. The photographer is "J. P. Phelps" of Sheffield, Alabama. The photograph is a CDV that is on a post-war photographer card. The CDV itself is definitely a war period image. A great photograph of what a rebel cavalry officer looked like.
