M1839 small size U.S. oval belt plate - Standard style as issued to infantryman prior to the Civil War. This plate is top notch in all regards with no visible dings or dents and retaining about 95% of its original gold wash with very little speckling apparent. Attached tongue is strong on reverse with lead filled backing. Overall a quality belt plate.

Offered is an Eagle shoulder belt plate, enlisted regulation pattern of 1826. The breast plate has the iron wire loops on reverse. A nice untouched plate with some slight spotting but large amount of original gold gilt finish. Top notch eagle breast plate.

An absolutely mint example of a Union Cavalryman saber belt rig. All the leather is pliable and exhibits all the brown buff leather with no rips or tears. All hardware is present including the original over the shoulder strap. The M1851 sword belt plate has a beautiful untouched patina and is original to the belt plate keeper. The reverse of the plate is bench marked "142". All original straps and belt keepers are present. The face of the plate has the german silver applied wreath and is 100% complete. Just a gorgeous cavalry belt rig deserving of the finest collection.

Offered is a mint condition small pattern U.S. cartridge box plate with the maker mark of "W.H. Smith Brooklyn" stamped on the reverse. A box plate seldom seen or found, especially maker marked. The face exhibilts lots of gilt and both hooks are present on the reverse. The plate has no dents or cracks. Just a great plate.
